Domenica 9 febbraio, al PalaEnza di Sant'Ilario D'Enza (RE), si è svolto il 1° Campionato Nazionale di Sanda Uisp - 24° Drago D'Inverno, competizione di pugilato cinese.

Le 26 Società sportive provenienti dal centro e nord Italia hanno disputato 39 incontri divisi in tre categorie: Esordienti e Amatori, Semi Sanda e Dilettanti Sanda. E' stato applicato il regolamento internazionale Iwuf/Uisp. Si è classificata prima la società Tiger Club di Gorizia, seconda Zenshin Arezzo, terza Tigre Bianca di Brescia, quarta la Sanda Valtellina Sondrio e Quinte Spartacus Bologna e SDK Reggio Emilia. La gara, all'insegna della più cordiale e amichevole partecipazione ha visto anche incontri duri e difficili, ma senza incidenti e nessun atto di intemperanza o contestazione.

Sicuramente è una manifestazione che deve crescere, ma i presupposti ci sono tutti, Buon livello tecnico, e collaborazione di tutti: attleti, coach e ufficiali di gara. A novembre abbiamo svolto un appuntamento di formazione e certificazione di una classe arbitrale ad hoc che ha dato prova di grande responsabilità, disponibilità e competenza.

Questo evento è stato possibile grazie soprattutto al M° Claudio Albieri, che da anni si ostina a far sopravvivere non solo un sanda di alto livello tecnico, ma anche conservando valori che in molte parti sono scomparsi. Con grande generosità ha messo a disposizione i suoi contatti e la sua esperienza maturata in tanti anni con il "Drago d'inverno" per rendere l'evento istituzionale: il Campionato Nazionale di Sanda. Campionato che non sarebbe stato possibile nemmeno senza il lavoro indefesso di Michele Chendi (Responsabile Nazionale di Settore) e Maria Luisa Magoni (Direttrice Nazionale). Un grazie anche alla UISP di Reggio Emilia che ci ha messo a disposizione gratuitamente il PalaEnza.
