UISP - Discipline Orientali

Chi siamo

L'Area Discipline Orientali, così denominata a partire dal Congresso di Lega del 1998, oggi, UISP Discipline Orientali, nasce come settore Judo verso la fine degli anni '70, ma presto si arricchisce di altre discipline: Karate, Aikido (Aikido - Ki Aikido - Iwama Ryu, Yoshinkan...), Ju Jitsu (diviso in varie scuole), Ju Tai Jutsu. Nel 1998, inoltre, si costituisce ufficialmente il settore Yoga, e nel 2000. Più recentemente si sono attivati i settori Tai Chi (Yang, Chen, Interstile...), Qi Gong, Taekwondo, Katori Shinto Ryu, Difesa Personale, Muay Thai, Pugilato amatoriale, Capoeira .....

- Partecipazione a Trofei Internazionali
- Campionati nazionali di disciplina
- dimostrazioni, tornei, campionati regionali delle varie discipline;
- manifestazioni a carattere dimostrativo;
- manifestazioni rivolte alle fasce giovanili.

La formazione, particolarmente curata, in termini di qualità e rigore, si sviluppa parallelamente su più livelli con uno stage nazionale rivolto a tutti gli insegnanti, stages nazionali per ufficiali di gara, stage di formazione tecnica, ed i progetti Judo-bambini e Karate-bambini. Questi ultimi due progetti prevedono un intervento a 360°, formazione insegnanti e definizione di attività specifiche per queste fasce di età; ma si moltiplicano innumerevoli altri momenti di formazione tecnica, didattica e culturale settoriale e trasversale nei vari livelli dell'Associazione.

Altro ambito di punta è la promozione di iniziative culturali attorno agli aspetti storico-filosofici delle Discipline Orientali.

Abbiamo da ultimo prodotto uno strumento conoscitivo delle D.O.. Questo giornale è nato per spiegare dentro l’Associazione (alle società e ai Comitati UISP), ma soprattutto all’esterno (Enti Pubblici, realtà che si avvicinano e non ci conoscono…) come siamo organizzati; la nostra filosofia associativa; chi siamo e cosa facciamo. Un ringraziamento a Giorgio Sozzi che l’ha redatto e ai Responsabili di Settore che in tempi strettissimi hanno scritto gli articoli.
