End of MemTrain first course

The first course based on the international project memtrain ended on Tuesday, 30 of may at the Collodi School in Via Guibert at Caselle Torinese. The participants in the project were quite enthusiastic and have positively assessed the more aerobic style that was given to the course, while not departing from the guidelines of the AFA. Strong appreciation for the instructor Lisa Crosetti, who has been able to create a relaxed and entertaining environment through humour and by involving all the participants. MemTrain aims to focus its attention on the physical and mental well-being of over 55 years through a series of studies that prove the correlation between cognitive decline and long periods of sedentarity. The sample group of volunteers, including the current director of UISP Ciriè Settimo Chivasso, Roberto Rinaldi, participated in a program developed in 10 lessons, in order to facilitate the collection of the data needed for the project. During the lessons a vocational training manual was also created, which will be used to promote healthy aging.
