PADEL4ALL PROJECT

Project Name: PADEL4ALL – Padel for All the People

Summary PADEL4ALL is an 18-month Erasmus+ Small Collaborative Partnership that promotes inclusion and active aging through padel, a racquet sport accessible to seniors, people with disabilities, and the general population. By organizing inclusive events, mobile padel infrastructure, and an educational campaign, the project aims to popularize padel in Central Europe and increase physical activity among underrepresented groups. It addresses health inequalities and builds community around sport by making padel accessible, engaging, and inclusive.

Main Objectives

  • Encourage people aged 50+ and those with disabilities to participate in physical activity
  • Raise awareness of adapted padel through a transnational educational campaign
  • Build community among diverse participants through sport events and shared experiences
  • Promote padel as a low-barrier sport suitable for all ages and mobility levels
  • Share good practices and implementation strategies for inclusive sport
  • Create partnerships between sport clubs, municipalities, and private stakeholders

Target Groups

  • People over 50
  • People with physical or intellectual disabilities

  • Local Events: Italy and Spain host short, one-day activities using existing padel facilities. These events are open to all and demonstrate how padel encourages movement, connection, and joy regardless of age or ability. Poland and the Czech Republic take a more creative approach, building temporary padel courts to bring the game directly to people who may never have tried it. These week-long events offer equipment, coaching, and open sessions where anyone can join — from newcomers to seasoned players.

Legacy & Impact PADEL4ALL expands access to sport across Europe, especially in countries with limited padel infrastructure. It challenges stereotypes around age and disability, promotes physical literacy, and offers a replicable model for inclusive sport. The educational campaign and toolkit will remain available post-project, enabling clubs and institutions to implement adapted sport programmes.
