SUMMARY:

Despite several public health campaigns on the benefits of physical activity, the impact and success have been limited and highlight a gap between theory and practice (increase in physical activity). The project aims to fill this gap by raising awareness from a practical perspective, helping the health and sports community to integrate successful initiatives. The EHLA project aims to identify and analyse the three most innovative measures to promote physical activity and to define a methodology to facilitate the integration of these measures into the activities and strategies of the target stakeholders. This method and the innovative measures will be tested and disseminated through an awareness campaign with the aim of increasing awareness on physical activity by presenting evidence and analysing the experiences gained through different initiatives and good practices.
